NeuStrat&PM will host a booth at the

premiere event which promises to attract hundreds from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia areas. “We value leadership at NeuStrat&PM, and are driven to unleash the potential of others. It is an honor to support the initiative taken by these young leaders, and by extension Special Love, in their efforts to alleviate the burdens of this terrible disease for children and families across the US,” said company Founder and CEO, Marc Neufcourt. The festival, spearheaded by over 100 CVHS Wildcats ranging from freshmen to seniors, will include a 2-mile race, a fun run/walk, food, games, activity tents and more.

Inspired by CVHS student Valerie Nguyen, who lost her younger sister to pediatric cancer, all event proceeds will support Special Love, an organization that helps children with cancer to “just be kids.” Through its community of caring, Special Love alleviates the burden of childhood cancer on families like Valerie’s, by providing access to adventure camps, emergency financial relief and college scholarships for teenagers who have participated in their programs.

According to the American Cancer Society, after accidents, cancer is the second leading cause of death in children ages 1 to 14, with rates rising within recent decades.
